As my Christmas shopping takes an upturn thanks to Black Friday, my business woman of the week is Victoria Beckham.
Victoria Beckham has long been underestimated, and the UK media is no exception. However, her eponymous fashion and beauty brand continues to defy expectations, delivering impressive growth year after year.
In 2023, the brand achieved a remarkable 52% revenue increase, reaching £89.1 million. This was accompanied by an 800% surge in adjusted EBITDA to £1.8 million.
The fashion line has seen significant growth across all channels, with particular success in online sales and the flagship London store. For those in the know, the gathered waist midi dress and leather goods range, especially belts, were standout performers.
Victoria Beckham Beauty also thrived in 2023, expanding its product range and launching its first fragrance collection. The brand has cultivated a loyal customer base and made inroads into wholesale accounts.
The momentum has carried into 2024, with double-digit growth across all product categories. Recently, Victoria was honoured at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards, a testament to her innovation and dedication to the fashion industry.
Despite the challenges of the fashion industry, Victoria Beckham has persevered, building a profitable and influential brand. Her journey serves as an inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs and a reminder that with hard work and strategic vision, success is attainable.
Finally, for those wondering, I did purchase the Victoria Beckham Vast Lash Mascara. Expect to see it on an Instagram post soon.
